Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but the jinx is in for Washington Capitals. Tuesday morning, internet celebrity PFT Commenter got cozy with the Stanley Cup after the trophy visited his office. He made a tiny amendment to the cup, which will inevitably doom the team for the rest of eternity.

He’s also touching the cup here, which is another big problem. Is PFT Commenter a Caps fan? Honestly, nobody seems quite sure if he actually is or if it’s just a constant running joke.
Now, before you being chirping at me as per usual saying “LET’S JUST ENJOY THIS PLAYOFF RUN. ENOUGH TALK ABOUT THE JINXING” I would just like to say that I hear you. I am glad you are able to move on. I am not able to move on. I am a broken shell of a human and you are better than me.
