Now that all of our hearts have slowed down from the last game, let’s try for a new streak tonight. Tonight, the Capitals (and their dads) are in St. Louis to face the Blues. While the Caps try to regain their momentum, the Blues have hit a drought with their golden boy, Vladimir Tarasenko. He has gone five games without scoring a goal. Most notably on the Capitals side, John Carlson is officially out after suffering from a lower-body injury last weekend. There is also a possibility that he might not play during the Dallas game as well.
Puck drop is at 8:00 PM.
|Team||Record||SA%||PDO||Power Play||Penalty Kill|
|St. Louis Blues||23-17-5||51.2%||99.4||22.2%||84.8%|
According to Isabelle, the defensive lines have been rotating kinda funky, so there could be some shifting around.
Ovechkin – Backstrom– Oshie
Johansson – Kuznetsov – Williams
Connolly – Eller – Burakovsky
Winnik – Beagle – Wilson
Alzner – Niskanen
Orpik – Orlov
Chorney – Schmidt
EVERYONE should come to our party. It will be, how the kids say, “lit”. Be sure to RSVP on Facebook please please please.
And come on….look at this photo Peter made. How can you say no to a human like Matt Bradley?
In the spirit of playing the St. Louis Blue and the fact that I’m a big Jazz/Blues (not much of a difference, simply in pace) fan, I thought I would play you out of the pregame with a couple of my fave upbeat tracks. Listen up and get through the work day, you got this.
