When the Washington Capitals took their team photo in late March, we finally captured, in all its wild glory, Justin Williams’ beautiful and luxurious hair. Teased high into the air, Williams’ salad puffed out like Ogie Ogilthorpe’s in Slapshot.
Williams’ hair that day got many headlines.
It later got a t-shirt tribute from one fan.

Well, all good things must end. And this weekend, I’m sad to report that Williams shaved his head.
On Friday, Williams debuted his new buzzcut at Breitling’s grand opening of its newly relocated New York Flagship Boutique. The celebration touted a star-studded list of VIPs that included John Travolta, former astronaut Mark Kelly, current astronaut Scott Kelly, former cartoon character Wayne Gretzky, Boomer Esiason, and professional golfer Morgan Hoffman.
