Well, this is pretty cool. Forever Dallas Star and 2014 Hockey Hall of Famer Mike Modano thinks the Washington Capitals will win the Stanley Cup this year. Modano, who won the Stanley Cup with the Stars in 1999, joins Las Vegas bookies and a few writers on NHL.com who believe the Caps can achieve the feat for the first time in team history.

Now go spit twice, cross all your fingers and toes, and hang a horseshoe on your wall.
