Wednesday night, the Capitals played in another maddening, low-scoring game game against the Red Wings. Lucky for the Caps, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Quidditch beater club in hand, was again the overtime hero.
A lot of strength, a bit of finesse, and two points for the @washcaps. #WSHvsDET

Let me compose myself and describe this play. I’m a journalist and you guys deserve the best analysis I can give.
So watch here as Kuznetsov goes one-on-three, corrals a bouncing puck, and lkjfsdalkjfsda;lkfjdal;kfjdlks;al;fkdgjasl DEAR LORD THIS MAN IS SO VERY VERY GOOD AT THE HOCKEY. HE DIDNT EVEN CELEBRATE HES JUST LIKE WHATEVER I JUST PUT THAT PUCK IN THAT NET THING AND LETS GO EAT SOME PIZZA.
Petr Mrazek, who was brilliant (and also took a slap shot off his mask earlier in the third period), was not happy. He kicked the puck in disgust, doing his best Tim Thomas impression, before skating off the ice and into the lockerroom.
Good win!
