The Capitals improved their record to 5-1 last night, beating the Canucks in Vancouver for the first time since 2001. The newly nicknamed third line, the Chim Reapers (coined by @averagecapsfan), scored twice. Alex Ovechkin tallied the game-winning goal, his fifth of the season, off a beautiful pass by Evgeny Kuznetsov.
Here are all three goals. Hope you enjoy.
1st 15:10 Jason Chimera (Asst: Jay Beagle, Andre Burakovsky)
3rd 05:42 Jay Beagle (Asst: John Carlson, Marcus Johannson)
3rd 15:05 Alex Ovechkin (Asst: Evgeny Kuznetsov, Dmitry Orlov)
