Just two months after a serious sledding injury, six-year-old Bensten Schone is back at home recovering with his family. Since the end of January, the entire Washington Capital community has rallied around B-man and watched his odds-defying comeback.
On Monday, the Caps used their long break in the best way possible: visiting Bensten at home. Michael Latta, Nicklas Backstrom, Alex Ovechkin, Mike Green, and Tom Wilson gathered around Bensten to share thumbs-up for the camera. It looks like Bensten got some new hockey gloves too.
Nice work, guys.
Thanks for coming by @Latta17 @tom_wilso @backstrom19 @GreenLife52 @ovi8. You guys are class acts. Bman is beaming right now. #pray4bman
