Former Capital Joel Ward is now a married man after a beautiful ceremony in Napa, California on Sunday afternoon.
No current Capitals were in attendance, but Ward did invite former teammate Troy Brouwer.

Former Capital Joel Ward will be tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend Kitt Pedrosa this weekend in Napa, California. The two have been dating since Ward played in DC.
The news was shared on Instagram by Ward’s former teammate on the Sharks Logan Couture. Ward is currently an unrestricted free agent. He only played 52 games last season due to injury off a hit from Nate Schmidt.

Alex Ovechkin and Nastya Ovechkina’s wedding celebration spilled into a second day on Sunday, as friends and family of the couple went on a river cruise along the Moskva River. The Moskva River runs through the heart of Moscow, including Saint Basil’s Cathedral and the Kremlin.
The private boat ride included food and drinks as well as more performances from some of Russia’s finest musicians. The night ended like a fairytale with fireworks being shot high into the Moscow sky.
Dmitry Orlov wasn’t the only Capitals representative at Alex Ovechkin’s wedding.
Caps center Evgeny Kuznetsov was there. And so was longtime, huggy Ovechkin teammate Alex Semin. The duo was captured onstage by an onlooker during the wedding reception. The group, which included Orlov, Ilya Kovlachuk, and several others, awkwardly danced and laughed.
Washington Capitals defenseman Dmitry Orlov was at Alex Ovechkin’s bachelor party last week and Saturday he was in Moscow for the Russian machine’s fancy wedding with Nastya Ovechkina.
During the wedding ceremony at the Barvikha Concert Hall, Orlov and wife Varvara took a photo with the (sorta) newly-wed couple.
On July 8, 2017, nearly a year after getting technically married, Alex Ovechkin and his wife Nastya Ovechkina held their wedding at Barvikha Luxury Village, an exclusive enclave just outside of Moscow.
In Instagram videos shot by friends and family, Ovechkin, wearing a black tuxedo, can be seen marrying his beautiful wife Nastya outside during a rainy ceremony. Members of Nastya’s wedding party held transparent umbrellas up as the couple said their I do’s.
Alex and Nastya held their wedding reception at Barvikha Concert Hall. Friends captured the couple walking into the venue (their walk up song was Play That Funky Music) and their romantic first dance as husband and wife.

For the first time publicly, Alex Ovechkin and Nastya Ovechkina confirmed they are holding their wedding this summer. Saturday afternoon, Nastya posted two photos on her Instagram account, thanking the various vendors that helped make the couple’s “special pre-wedding video.”
On August 26, 2016, Alex Ovechkin and his fiancee Nastya Shubskaya announced they were married. Holding hands and wearing wedding rings, the two lovers confirmed the news with an Instagram post. “This is happiness,” Ovechkin wrote. The news was corroborated by a Washington Capitals spokesman.
Nastya changed her last name to Ovechkina on Instagram, but no photos of the wedding surfaced. Now we may know why. Judging by a recent Instagram post, Alex and Nastya are holding their actual wedding this summer.
The Russian rumors were right for a change.
Sunday morning, Alex Ovechkin posted a photo on Instagram holding hands with Nastya Shubskaya. Or should I say Ovechkina?
