TJ Oshie shows off golf talent in American Century Championship dominated by Steph Curry

TJ Oshie and his family traveled out to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, last week for the American Century Championship, a golf tournament that brings together some of the biggest athletes and celebrities across the nation.

“Favorite week of the year at the @acchampionship!” an excited Oshie said on his personal Instagram account.

Oshie’s had many fun highlights at the event over the years, such as sinking a putt while sipping from a beer-guzzling helmet, draining a three pointer from the putting green, and becoming the long drive leader of the 2021 edition of the event after hitting a ball 369 yards.

Oshie had a good showing at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in 2023, finishing 30th out of 93 total participants. The Capitals forward was an impressive tenth overall in Round 1 after tallying five birdies in the first 18 holes, finishing the day three over par.

New long drive leader TJ Oshie hit a golf ball very, very far at the American Century Championship

TJ Oshie doesn’t need the Happy Gilmore hitch to have Happy Gilmore power.

Thursday, during the American Century Championship, Oshie overtook Patrick Mahomes as the new long drive leader after having a 369 yard carry on one of his drives.

TJ Oshie does beer bong with fans at American Century Championship

After the Capitals won the Stanley Cup, Nicklas Backstrom said during the championship parade that, “Finally, we played hockey like we can party.”

Sunday, TJ Oshie took that to the next level by doing a beer bong with fans during the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe.

TJ Oshie shows off healed collarbone by draining incredible shot at American Century Championship

Washington Capitals forward TJ Oshie is participating in the American Century Celebrity Championship — a celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe — again this year.

The Osh Babe was driving the ball off the tee with power, but it’s a different shot he nailed which showed how healthy he is two months away from the start of Capitals’ training camp.

TJ Oshie tees off to ‘We Are The Champions,’ drinks beer through shirt again

TJ Oshie is continuing his partying ways during a celebrity golf tournament.

A day after sinking a putt while wearing a beer-guzzling helmet, Oshie teed off at the American Century Championship while We Are The Champions played.

After successfully driving the ball down the course, Oshie pulled his polo shirt over his head and downed a beer.

Living-his-best-life TJ Oshie sinks putt while wearing a beer-guzzling helmet

TJ Oshie’s legend status is officially confirmed.

During his illustrious athletic career, Oshie has beaten the Russians in an Olympic shootout, won a Stanley Cup with the Capitals, and drank a beer through his jersey during a championship parade. Now he’s managed to do the impossible: make golf cool.

Oshie did so with a Happy Gilmore-esque edition to his putting wardrobe. While going for par on the 17th hole of the American Century Championship, Oshie wore a beer-guzzling helmet.

Justin Timberlake, Steph Curry, and TJ Oshie: Caps Winger Participates in American Century Championship

This weekend, Washington Capitals winger TJ Oshie is participating in what is called the super bowl of celebrity sports: the American Century Championship. Held at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada, Oshie joined 80 pro athletes and Hollywood celebrities such as Charles Barkley, Aaron Rodgers, Justin Timberlake, Steph Curry, Larry The Cable Guy, Ray Romano, and Roger Clemens for the opportunity to win a share of the tournament’s $600,000 purse.

After the first round Friday, Oshie’s two points puts him in a tie for 46th place with former Orioles and Yankees pitcher David Wells. See the full leaderboard here. Oshie shot 14 over par, registering a birdie on holes three and eleven.
