After the Capitals went approximately 800 years between goals, #TopLineTom may be no more, but Tom Wilson kept Tom Wilson’ing from the third line Thursday night against Boston.
During the third period of the Caps’ 4-3 shootout win over the Bruins, Wilson tallied an unlikely assist on the game-tying goal. It was both ugly and beautiful at the same time.
At first it looked like Tom scored, but it was just that ugly of a play. No one could tell because the Caps forward was causing so much mayhem in front of the crease.
