The Stanley Cup will be in the building on Sunday night.
The hosting Vegas Golden Knights need a win over the Carolina Hurricanes to force a Game 7 and keep their championship hopes alive. Head coach John Tortorella is so confident that his team will be returning to North Carolina on Wednesday that he left some of his belongings in his hotel room.
The Hurricanes got two goals from winger Andrei Svechnikov to lead them to a win in Game 5. Goaltender Brandon Bussi has taken the series by storm after taking over from regular starter Frederik Andersen.
With a win, the Hurricanes will claim their second-ever Cup victory, following their first in 2006. Let’s do that hockey.
