The Washington Capitals are back on the ice for a Thursday tilt against the St. Louis Blues. The team will look to avoid a rare losing streak this season after they suffered their first home regulation on Tuesday since November 23.
The Caps will try to do so without Tom Wilson, who is unable to play due to illness. Jakub Vrana will replace Wilson in the lineup and skate on the fourth line. Charlie Lindgren will get the start and oppose Joel Hofer in net.
Puck drop for the Caps-Blues game is a little after 7 pm on Monumental Sports Network. Joe Beninati and Alan May have the call. It’s Brayden Schenn’s 1,000th career game.
