The Washington Capitals can breathe a sigh of relief after all five players they put on NHL waivers cleared, Sunday.
Hershey Bears Calder Cup champion players, Ethen Frank, Hardy Häman Aktell, Alex Limoges, Chase Priskie, and Riley Sutter, were all waived on Saturday to help bring the Capitals’ Training Camp roster down to 29 and a single group.

Frank, the fastest player in hockey, was the most intriguing player to hit the waiver wire after leading the Bears in goals and being an AHL All-Star the last two seasons.
Ethen Frank is on waivers from Washington. That's a player I'd place a claim on.
30 goals as an AHL rookie in 22-23 and bagged 29 last year. 10 goals, 17 points en route to the Calder Cup in the spring. Won AHL fastest skater in 2023. I think he can play a role in the league. https://t.co/moQfnrXWcP
