Blues fans at viewing party sing national anthem after scoreboard video cuts out

Gmes One and Two of the Stanley Cup Final have sold out not only in Boston, where the games are being played, but also in St. Louis, where sold-out crowds have been watching the action play out on the Enterprise Center’s jumbotron.

Wednesday night, ahead of Game Two, there was a glitch in the broadcast during the signing of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Blues fans picked up the tune and carried it all the way to the end.

Astute listeners will note that the St. Louis-style rendition ends with “the land of the free, and the home of the BLUES!”
