Nicklas Backstrom gave his son and daughter a puck during warmups. Vince’s reaction was priceless.

Nicklas Backstrom brought his two children onto the ice after practice on Saturday, but the family’s hockey bonding didn’t stop there.

Vince and Haley were at the Caps-Coyotes game Sunday, and during warmups, their papa gave them a special gift they’ll cherish forever.

Dad gave his tiny Swedish children a hockey puck from warmups. But it’s what happened afterward that’s going to warm your heart.

Nicky began banging the glass with his stick. Vince, his chunky cheeked son, responded by sticking his tongue out at his father. Dad returned the favor.

Haley can be seen in the background clutching a puck her father gave her too.

What a cute family.
