Graffiti artist honors Evgeny Kuznetsov with Stanley Cup mural in hometown of Chelyabinsk

In August, Evgeny Kuznetsov will have his day with the Stanley Cup. And I think I found the perfect place for the first-line center to take the championship trophy for a photo.

Graffiti artist @1947.art painted this mural of Kuzy honoring his Stanley Cup victory. The art was created days after the former Traktor Chelyabinsk star won his first championship in June 2018.

“This graffiti is dedicated to Evgeny Kuznetsov (@kuzy092), a player for Traktor Chelyabinsk who won the Stanley Cup

Traktor Chelyabinsk was first founded in 1947.

The account has photos of other 1947 graffiti across the city.
