Former Capital Kevin Shattenkirk is now officially married to his longtime girlfriend Deanna Abbey after a gorgeous ceremony at the Wölffer Estate Vineyard in the Hamptons.
Of course, there were many New York Rangers in attendance since Shattenkirk is currently a defensman on the squad, but TJ Oshie was also present with his wife Lauren and her sister Ally.
Oshie and Shattenkirk played five seasons in St. Louis together and were reunited on the Capitals squad last year. They also vacation together in spots like Turks and Caicos.
To say everyone looked incredible at the wedding would be a gross understatement.
Lauren Oshie instagrammed a wonderful post with a photo collage of everyone looking amazing, especially the bride! I am also a huge fan of a good wedding pun or hastag, so #KnotTooShabbey is such a perfect one.
Lauren also reposted the picture of her and her sister, Ally, in front of a sign illuminating “The Shattenkirks”.
There was a small reunion of old St. Louis Blues teammates including some familiar faces you might recognize from this year’s post season… like Ryan Reaves of the Vegas Golden Knights.
Some of the current New York Rangers in attendance include Jimmy Vesey, Kevin Hayes, and Brady Skjei. Also in the photo is the New York Rangers’ brand new coach David Quinn. Coach Quinn was Shattenkirk’s assistant coach at Boston University.
