Eric Fehr had a penchant for scoring big goals with the Washington Capitals. He just did the same for the Pittsburgh Penguins Monday night during Game Four.
The Winkler, Manitoba native scored a huge insurance goal with 122 seconds left in the third period to give the Pens a 3-1 lead. The Penguins are now one win away from their first Stanley Cup since 2009.

After taking a pass from Carl Hagelin, Fehr skated in and and beat goalie Martin Jones from the slot to the upper right corner of the net. The goal was reminiscent of Fehr’s second goal of the 2010 Winter Classic… against Pittsburgh. Hall of Fame commentator Doc Emrick yelled, “SCORE! It’s Eric Fehr!”

The Penguins’ Mike Lange responded by yelling the phrase, “Start frying the jumbo, Homer.”
This was Fehr’s first career Stanley Cup Final goal and his third tally of the 2015-16 postseason.
