The Washington Capitals are ready to wrap up their 2026 preseason with one final game on the road against the Philadelphia Flyers at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
After icing what was almost their complete Opening Night lineup against the Boston Bruins on Friday, the Capitals will take on the Flyers with a lineup chock-full of prospects and AHL regulars. Ethen Frank, who is on the bubble of the team’s roster, will be the only player to play in both games.
Charlie Lindgren will get the start in net for the Capitals and play the entirety of the game. He will be backed up by former Flyers goalie Cal Petersen.
Monumental Sports Network will broadcast the game. Puck drop is set for 5 pm.
