The Washington Capitals have made a trip up to Hershey, Pennsylvania, where they’ll take on the Philadelphia Flyers in their second game of the 2026 preseason. The Metropolitan Division exhibition matchup will take place at Giant Center, the home of Washington’s AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears.
As they did Sunday night in Boston, the Capitals will ice a lineup blending NHL veteran mainstays, prospects, and likely minor-league depth. Both of the Protas brothers are expected to dress and play on a new line with offseason addition Jordan Kyrou, who will be making his Caps debut.
Charlie Lindgren is expected to get the start in net for the Capitals, with Clay Stevenson coming in relief of him halfway through regulation.
The game will be broadcast on Monumental Sports Network and NHL Network. Puck drop is set for 7 pm.
