The Medicine Hat Tigers selected forward Duke Lesnar with the 115th pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. The 14-year-old is the son of famous professional wrestler and mixed martial artist Brock Lesnar and former professional wrestler Sable.

Duke Lesnar is the youngest of three hockey-playing Lesnar brothers. He spent the 2024-25 season with the Notre Dame Hounds, an U-15 Prep team in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, recording 28 points (13g, 15a) and 43 penalty minutes in 30 games. While originally born in Minnesota, he relocated with the rest of his family to Saskatchewan in 2014.

Alexander Lesnar, the eldest of the brothers, plays ACHA DII college hockey for Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. Turk Lesnar, a year older than Duke, also plays at Notre Dame for their U17 AAA team.

Brock Lesnar is a former two-time NCAA All-American and heavyweight champion in wrestling, which he parlayed into a career in professional wrestling with WWE. With the WWE, he is a 7-time WWE champion and a 3-time Universal champion.

After leaving the WWE in 2004 to play for the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL preseason, Lesnar wrestled for a few years in Japan before transitioning to MMA and the UFC in 2008. He became the heavyweight champion with the UFC after defeating Randy Couture at UFC 91 on November 15, 2008.
