Popular YouTuber MrBeast might dedicate his life to good, but Wednesday night after the Washington Capitals defeated the New York Rangers 3-2 in overtime, he caught a stray from the Caps so nasty that he might rather search 100 dumpsters again than be in his own mentions.
The Capitals posted a fake cover image of an imagined MrBeast Youtube video with the title I Spent Three Hours At Madison Square Garden Just to Watch the Rangers LOSE.
“make sure to hit that subscribe button,” the Capitals added on X.

Ouch.
The cover image of MrBeast, whose real name is James Donaldson, comes from a photo the media personality took at a March 3 Rangers-Islanders’ game where he wore a 75th anniversary Rags sweater.

MrBeast being a Rangers fan seems surprising considering he grew up in Greenville, North Carolina and still lives in the area. Though, after doing three recent YouTube videos with the word “room” in the title, perhaps he’s a fan of head coach Peter Laviolette and his default response of “I’m going to keep that inside the room” when answering questions from the media.
Don’t know anything about this guy, but I love his name, and I know for sure @ColbyCohen36 hates it pic.twitter.com/mwx9cjO35C

Research online shows no evidence of MrBeast going to a Carolina Hurricanes game, though members of his entourage did participate in the “Sound The Siren” ritual last year. MrBeast did donate hockey gear to a Hurricanes’ disabled veterans team in 2020.
Anyway, that’s how you write 235 words and not win $500,000.
