Andrew Cristall continues to exceed all expectations in what will be his final WHL season before turning pro. Cristall had his third massive point explosion with the Spokane Chiefs in 2025 on Saturday night against the Everett Silvertips, posting six points (1g, 5a) in a 10-3 victory.

The huge outing increased his season point total to 85 points (32g, 53a) in 37 games. The 19-year-old winger is second in WHL scoring behind only Gavin McKenna, who has 88 points in five more games than Cristall.

Cristall started his evening by playing facilitator on Spokane’s first two goals, grabbing the secondary assist on back-to-back goals from linemate Shea Van Olm. His first real highlight came via a cross-ice feed to Saige Weinstein, who did most of the work on an individual rush up the ice.

The Washington Capitals prospect scored his lone goal in the game, his fourth point in the first period, with 3:55 remaining in the opening frame. After carving into Everett’s zone, Cristall dragged the puck around a sliding defender and finished low on goaltender Raiden LeGall.

Cristall was back on the scoresheet 13:48 into the second period, sending a perfect saucer pass to Cameron Parr. He would later add another secondary assist on Berkly Catton’s goal, Spokane’s last of the game.

Cristall was named the First Star of the Game for his performance. The 2023 second-round draft selection is on pace for a 131-point season (55g, 72a) if he plays in the Chiefs’ remaining 20 regular season games.

If Cristall were to hit the 130-point mark, he’d join Connor Bedard (143) and Sam Steel (131) as the only active NHL-affiliated players to do so. There have only been fifteen 130-point seasons in the WHL since the 1990-91 campaign and only one, Bedard’s, in the 2020s.

Cristall and the Chiefs will be back in action on Sunday night against the Vancouver Giants. Cristall had a five-point game against the Giants earlier this season while still with the Kelowna Rockets.
