The Washington Commanders drew a number of celebrities to their home game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, including a big name Washington Capitals player.
TJ Oshie, who is currently on long-term injured reserve, attended the game at Northwest Stadium with his wife Lauren and close family friends. While being out of the lineup, Oshie has remained close to the team and made several public appearances throughout the season.
Oshie posted several photos to his Instagram Story throughout the day, including one with former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and former Commanders QB Robert Griffin III. RGIII was notably the Commanders’ honored “legend of the game.”
According to Monumental Sports Network’s Mitch Tischler, Oshie attended a pregame party at the Fanatics Sportsbook, which was also attended by former Wizards point guard John Wall and rap mogul and sports agent Jay Z.

Jay Z exited the party with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, where he then made his way down to the field for warmups.
Three-time Super Bowl-winning head coach Joe Gibbs was also spotted at the game, saying hi to Commanders ownership.
Capitals mascot, Slapshot, also took the field, getting absolutely shredded while playing in a youth football vs mascots game.

Oshie ended up seeing another thrilling Commanders game. Jayden Daniels had the second miracle moment of his career, throwing an 86-yard touchdown to Terry McLaurin with 21 seconds left to presumably tie the game. But kicker Austin Seibert missed the extra point, leaving the Commanders down 27-26.
Washington would go on to lose to the Cowboys 34-26.
