NHL Network to air next two games of Hershey Bears’ Eastern Conference Finals series

Any Washington Capitals fans outside of the DMV area wanting to check out another deep playoff run from the AHL’s Hershey Bears will now have the opportunity to do so on TV.

With the Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers not set to start until June 8, NHL Network will air both Game 3 and Game 4 of the Bears’ Eastern Conference Finals series against the Cleveland Monsters.

Hershey is up 2-0 in the series after taking both games on home ice in overtime. Cleveland will host the next two games and Game 5 if they manage to win one of those next two.

Remaining schedule:

Game 3 – Tuesday, June 4 – Hershey at Cleveland, 7 pm (NHL Network)
Game 4 – Thursday, June 6 – Hershey at Cleveland, 7 pm (NHL Network)
*Game 5 – Saturday, June 8 – Hershey at Cleveland, 7 pm
*Game 6 – Monday, June 10 – Cleveland at Hershey, 7 pm
*Game 7 – Wednesday, June 12 – Cleveland at Hershey, 7 pm
*if necessary

Local Capitals or Bears fans will still be able to watch on Monumental Sports Network. You can also still live stream the game on Monumental’s website or via AHL TV’s streaming service.

The telecasts will feature the voice of the Bears, Zack Fisch, on play-by-play, former Capitals and Bears forward Garrett Mitchell on color commentary, and further insight from FOX43’s Todd Sadowski.

Hershey’s playoff games can also be heard on Caps Radio 24/7, the Bears Radio Network, and via the Bears Mobile app via simulcast.

The Bears are currently being led in postseason scoring by Hendrix Lapierre and his 11 points (4g, 7a) which is the second-highest total in the league. Ethen Frank is pacing the team in goal scoring with seven goals, including markers in five straight games.

Hunter Shepard is 8-1 with a 1.83 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage in the Bears’ net.

The Hershey Bears and the American Hockey League have announced today that NHL Network will carry the FOX43 broadcast of Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals from Cleveland this week.

Game 3 is set for Tuesday, June 4, and Game 4 will take place on Thursday, June 6 with coverage starting at 7 p.m. both days. The award-winning Voice of the Bears, Zack Fisch, will call the action along with analysis from former Hershey Bears captain Garrett Mitchell, along with FOX43’s Todd Sadowski.

FOX43’s broadcasts will be carried locally in Central Pennsylvania on FOX43.2, Antenna TV, which may be found on WPMT 43.2, Xfinity Ch. 247 and 1178, Verizon FiOS Ch. 463, Blue Ridge Ephrata Ch. 91, and Blue Ridge Newberry/Duncannon Ch. 88. Additionally, the Bears and FOX43 have partnered with Monumental Sports Network to broadcast all games in the series to the greater DC region.

All games will continue to be heard on the Bears Radio Network and via the Bears Mobile app as games will be simulcast. Games will also be available on the AHL’s streaming video platform, AHLTV.

The Bears lead the Eastern Conference Finals, two-games-to-none. The defending Calder Cup Champions are looking to return to the finals for the 25th time in franchise history
