Alex Ovechkin just reunited with his young family a full month after leaving them for the NHL bubble.
Two-year-old Sergei Ovechkin sprinted towards his daddy while holding his hockey stick while the family’s dog Blake ran around his owner.
It’s a sight similar to what we saw with TJ Oshie when he reunited with his family over the weekend.
What a gr8 hug.
Nastya Ovechkina and her two sons Sergei and Ilya have been in Russia for a few weeks already. On August 18, Nastya threw Sergei an extravagant second birthday party which included a hockey shooting station, basketball shooting station, a ball pit, and an inflatable slide.
Alex made a cameo during the party on Zoom, saying hi from Toronto.
Ovi Jr. has remained busy during his time at home, playing soccer and hockey with his family. Sergei also recently showed off his new CCM hockey gear, which really makes him look like dad.
