After saying their goodbyes to their loved ones, the Washington Capitals, 31 players in all, hopped on a plane and left for their bubble in Toronto this afternoon.
The Capitals and several players posted photos and video while boarding their flight. We learned of several important inanimate objects that will be joining the team north of the border.
As you can see in this video posted by Michal Kempny, Braden Holtby is indeed bringing his travel guitar as well as his fancy grey and tan fedoras. There will be folksy tunes aplenty in Hotel X.
We got a look at several other players, including Holtby, in a video the Capitals posted.

Tom Wilson wore a BASH-branded branded mask promoting the Arlington boxing studio he invests in. He also wore the exact same outfit as Jakub Vrana.
Speaking of Wilson and Vrana, both players teased Michal Kempny in his Instagram post for all his bagged lunches (hit the right below to see).
Radko Gudas flashed the shaka sign to the camera.
Here’s a look at a few more players including Nicklas Backstrom, Brenden Dillon, Nic Dowd, Carl Hagelin, and Connor McMichael.
