The Washington Capitals can’t stop, won’t stop, breaking lights in visiting NHL arenas.
Wednesday, as the team warmed up for their delayed 4 PM game against the New York Islanders, Michal Kempny broke a Scotiabank Arena fluorescent tube while playing sewer ball with his teammates.

Kempny didn’t seem to care, while Jonas Siegenthaler looks shocked and worried that the boys might be in trouble.
Start the getaway cart now, Ovi!
This isn’t the first time the Capitals have broke a light at Scotiabank Arena. Ovechkin broke off the caging and ripped down a light with his try in October 2019. He celebrated after doing so.
