NHL has a 7th period stretch during 4th longest game in history

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Tampa Bay Lightning have been playing for so long. When they started, Joe Biden didn’t even have a running mate.

As Game One of the first-round game hit the fourth period of overtime, the NHL continued their bit of 10/10 empty-arena jokes with a seventh-inning stretch.
