The Pittsburgh Penguins have been upset by the twelfth seeded Montreal Canadiens, technically the worst team in the 24-team playoff, and are eliminated from the postseason.
The elimination occurred on Sidney Crosby’s 33rd birthday.

“I would have loved a better outcome,” Crosby said after the game. “We didn’t play good enough to win.”
The Penguins got Petry’d twice during the Qualifying Round series and could not recover.
Artturi Lehkonen scored the game-winner late in the third period to help the Canadiens win Game Four, 2-0.
