The NHL is beginning to build hype around the return of the season. Wednesday, they released their first Stanley Cup commercial promoting the 2020 Playoffs.
The commercial begins with a clip of Alex Ovechkin, which is an immediate clue that this is a gr8 commercial.
The commercial also features clips of Justin Williams, Marc-Andre Fleury’s incredible glove save, dramatic shots of the Cup, and much more.
The song featured in the commercial is The Greatest Show by Panic At The Disco. It is a cover of the same titled song from the movie The Greatest Showman.
Starting August 1 you’ll be able to watch up to 15 hours of hockey every day.
What could be better than that? Nothing, if you ask us.
