Kuzy The Goalie is back, you guys.
During Thursday’s practice, the Russian forward shed his responsibilities at center to jump in goal without actual goalie gear. What could go wrong?

Kuznetsov made a glove save with his left hand and a “blocker” save with his right. Both shots were super slow as to not injure one of the most talented players on the team before a potential playoff run.
Hours later, the Capitals further honored Kuzy The Goalie as trivia on social media.

Kuznetsov has previously been spotted in goal two other times before. In January 2018, he actually put on full goalie gear and took shots from Philipp Grubauer and Dmitry Orlov. In September 2017, Kuzy messed around and tried to stop Devante Smith-Pelly and Orlov.
βWhen I was young I used to play a lot,β Kuznetsov said. βItβs kind of cool.β
