The Holtbys, with the help of some strangers, saved a small kitten hiding in a hole on the Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge.
Brandi documented some of the rescue effort on her Twitter.

Braden and Brandi first lured the kitten out with a big helping of tuna. Eventually, they were able to trap the tiny kitty in a box.
With the help of some amazing strangers, a can of tuna, and a bit of patience, we got her out! (She is in the box so we could walk her off the bridge without being clawed) pic.twitter.com/VbYHAN5TTt

Braden could be seen carrying the kitten away in a box.

It’s officially the second-best save of Holtby’s career.
The Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge is located on the DC Beltway near the Holtbys’ Alexandria home. It’s unknown if the family plans to keep the stray cat. They already have two tortoises as pets, Maple and Honey.
Just in case anyone needed a little happiness in their timeline 🤗🐱
