Washington Capitals PA announcer Wes Johnson has long been the voice behind some iconic video game characters. And Thursday, Johnson received an honor only Capitals’ players Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby, and TJ Oshie have received. He was immortalized as a Funko POP! figurine.
Well… sort of.
Johnson’s cookey character from The Elder Scrolls, Sheogorath – the Daedric Prince of Madness, is available as a GameStop exclusive Funko POP! figurine. It’s available for preorder now and will be available in GameStop stores on May 26.
Well, look who's here! I'm he. He's me. How about that? https://t.co/HguNZjP3ng

Sheogorath is so popular among Elder Scrolls fans that GameStop is only allowing one figurine to be ordered per purchase.
“It’s gonna go on a shelf right next to my Super Mutant, my Daedric Warrior, and my Protectron Robot,” Johnson said in an interview. “I love all of those characters, but Sheogorath is the one I’ve wanted forever. He’s special to me. Super excited that he’s finally made it to Funko Pop Land. Even more pumped that he has his Wabbajack. And of course, just like the real Madgod, I have my own as well.”
The Wabbajack is Sheogorath’s mysterious, magical staff that casts random spells ranging in effect from the complete disintegration, to the transformation, or empowerment of the target.
Sheogorath’s resemblance to the real-life Wes is uncanny.

According to Game Informer, the other new video game characters made available in this line include Leshen from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Handsome Jack from Borderlands 3, Tyrael from Diablo, and a Skull Trooper from Fortnite.
Sheogorath marks the fifth video game character Wes has been behind that’s become a Funko POP! figurine. The others include the Sentry Bot, Super Mutant, and Protectron from Fallout as well as the Daedric Warrior from The Elder Scrolls.

The Elder Scrolls series is by Bethesda Softworks – a video game company in Maryland.
