Alex Ovechkin is teaming up with Papa John’s to deliver pizzas to front-line workers at hospitals and urgent care locations across the area.
Papa John’s DMV announced the news in a selfie video shot by Ovechkin.

“Hey everyone. It’s Ovi,” said the man that needs no introduction. “I just want to say thanks to all my star doctors and nurses. You do great job. Hope you will enjoy pizza and take care of yourself.”
It appears Ovi shot the video before he left for Miami.
Ovechkin has been a long-time sponsor of Papa John’s and done many amazing commercials for the brand including the revelation that his childhood dream was to be a pizza delivery guy.
