Puberty is hard. Most ideas you get are dumb. Even worse, approximately 95 percent of the things you do at that age is to impress your friends.
Which brings me to 13-year-old Landon Marleau. Landon, who is one of four Marleau children (six if you include Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner), was recently in some hot water with his parents after he got sneaky on mom’s home computer.
Landon changed his mom’s Gmail name to something wildly inappropriate.
For the last few days, I have been sending out emails to school, businesses, business partners, etc with the name “DeezNutzz” courtesy of my 13 year old son. Apologies to those people 🤦🏼♀️

I feel so conflicted by this story. Part of me wants to high five Landon because yes, it’s funny. The other part of me wants to wag my finger in his face and remind him that mom conducts important business and she deserves respect. There’s yet another part of me that wants to change all my passwords so Ethan can’t do this in 10 years when I’m a total noob at technology. Future Ethan, if you’re reading this, please be kind to your old man.
