Here’s Evgeny Kuznetsov basically getting in a sword fight with Alex Stalock

As you know, Evgeny Kuznetsov is a rare bird and Sunday in the Capitals’ 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild, the Russian center got in a tit for tat with goaltender Alex Stalock.

The clip is being wildly shared over social media for how ridiculous it is.

Here’s what happened. A tenacious Kuznetsov put his stick in Stalock’s crease as he waits for a Wild defenseman to break the puck out behind the net. Stalock did not want Kuzy’s stick there so he swipes it away. Kuznetsov didn’t like Stalock’s swipe and now it’s on. En garde!

The two players pretty much engage in a sword fight.

Hockey. It can be so wonderfully dumb sometimes.
