Tom Wilson has hit 20 goals for the second consecutive season after scoring on a breakaway.

The Tommy goal tied the Caps-Pens game 2-2 one-minute and sixteen seconds into the third period.

Really, Tom did pretty much everything here. Standing up strong at the defensive blue, Wilson forced a turnover by Marcus Pettersson. Nicklas Backstrom chipped the puck ahead to Willy for the breakaway.

Wilson showed forehand before deking to his backhand and sliding the puck around the leg of Matt Murray.

The first line right-winger now has goals in three straight games. He’s also the fourth Capitals player to score 20 goals this season joining Alex Ovechkin, TJ Oshie, and Jakub Vrana.
