(Well, he hasn’t scored all 699 against Price, just 22, but you know what we meant.)
It was a simple play. Nicklas Backstrom won the faceoff in the offensive zone. The puck trickled back behind, where Ovechkin seized upon it. With a natural screen and the puck slightly bobbling, Price didn’t stand chance.
