Alex Ovechkin scored a hat trick in his second consecutive game Saturday against the New York Islanders. But afterwards, the Russian machine was humbled as he sat on a plane with his wife Nastya and his son Sergei.
While the fam waited to jet-set for Mexico, Nastya asked Ovi to do the Which Disney Character Are You? Instagram filter, which is currently a rage online.
The future Hockey Hall of Famer obliged but was not pleased with the end result.
Ovi flashed a big smile hoping to be a handsome prince or a popular Disney protagonist.
Instead, he ended up being the dopey and selfless snowman from Frozen, Olaf. To be honest, the resemblance is uncanny.
“That displeased face at the end,” Nastya wrote on the Instagram Story video.
I think this basically sums up Olaf, er, I mean, Ovechkin. He scores eight goals in three games and passes two legends on the NHL’s all-time goal-scoring list in the same game. Yet, he can’t be a lovable hero like Aladdin.
On the bright side, at least he wasn’t Pumbaa.
