Evgeny Kuznetsov snuck one more goal into 2019 to get the Caps on the scoreboard against the Isles on New Year’s Eve.
To celebrate, Kuzy brought back the bird celly.
It’s a weird one. With Vrana and Orlov in the corner, Kuznetsov someone evades detection by the Islanders’ defense. Orlov centers the puck, and Kuznetsov is able to tuck it behind Varlamov.
