Roles reversed: Vitek Vanecek shot stuffed animals on Martin Fehervary during Hershey’s Teddy Bear Toss

There were many wonderful tiny moments during the Hershey Bears’ world record-breaking Teddy Bear Toss at Giant Center, Sunday night.

One of my personal favorite exchanges was when goaltender Vitek Vanecek and defenseman Martin Fehervary switched roles and Vitek started shooting Teddy Bears at Fehervary with his goalie stick.

The Bears posted video of the two players messing around. Fehervary quickly reacted and made a sneaky save with his shoulder.

“Maybe I should switch @vitacz15 in the net 😂” Fehervary replied on his Instagram Story.

You guys, not only is Martin slated to be a future star in the NHL as a defenseman, but he also appears to have the chops to be a good emergency goaltender in a pinch too! This guy can do it all.

Both players had a bunch of fun during the Teddy Bear Toss. For Fehervary, it was the first time he ever experienced one in North America. This is his first season professional.
