Adam Eaton and Howie Kendrick‘s clutch-and-drive home run celebration became iconic during the Washington Nationals’ World Series run.
“We’re both really big car guys and him and I have a really special relationship with cars and just, we love cars so we’re like, ‘you know what, let’s drive, I wanna drive,’ and then all of a sudden, Howie starts hitting homers and I’m like, ‘this is pretty cool, we’re drivin,” Eaton said of the celebration during the World Series. “I round the bases like, ‘man, I get to drive!'”
Now, there’s a World Series championship bobblehead celebrating the dugout celly and I, for one, am in love.
The bobblehead was released on Black Friday by FOCO as well as an equally epic Max Scherzer bobble which features the future Hall of Fame pitcher celebrating with a WWE belt during the Nationals Championship parade.
For RMNB readers interested in buying the bobbleheads, FOCO is offering 19 percent off your order if you being either one or both. Use the coupon code RMNB19 to redeem.
But the clutch-and-drive! According to NBC Sports Washington, Eaton and Kendrick have been doing the celebration since at least June.

They even created shirts to celebrate the moment, which they wore during batting practice.
Eaton has shown off his love for cars in other ways too. The outfielder created an annual charity car show called Rev Up The Park. The event raises money for The Dragonfly Foundation. During the Nationals’ Championship Parade, Eaton did an epic burnout.
Ohhh. Now the Adam Eaton-Howie Kendrick celebration makes sense.

Eaton, who is a huge fan of hockey, has also proved to be as big a partier as the Capitals. The clutch hitter successfully did TJ Oshie’s beer chug at a recent Caps game, as well as remove his shirt on the Zamboni. A t-shirt was made in his honor for that too.
You guys, Adam Eaton is officially the coolest baseball player on the planet.
