Brett Connolly scores on Capitals after tribute video

Brett Connolly now has goals in two straight games against his former team.

This time, Connolly scored shortly after the Capitals aired a tribute video for him.

Now Conno that’s just plain mean. I’m starting to think it’s personal.

Connolly scored on a breakaway after TJ Oshie authored a horrible turnover to Vincent Trochek. What a deke.

The goal tied the game 1-1.

TJ, please go sit in your sad chair and think about what you’ve done.

Connolly now has 12 goals in 25 games this season with the Panthers and is on pace to score 30-plus goals. Dang.
