A beer league tournament team, consisting of players from the Old Fat Bald Guys hockey league in Frederick, Maryland, has created stunning jerseys that you absolutely need to see.
The jerseys for the Maryland Crabs are inspired by an old school Vancouver Canucks design and utilizes the colors of the Maryland flag — yellow, red, and black — for a perfect homage to the Old Line State.
The jerseys are designed by OFBG alum Tyson Whiting.
Team member Matt Goodwin explained how these sweaters came to be.
“These jerseys were conceived the way all great men’s league ideas are…tailgating after a game!” he said.
Here’s the Canucks jersey that the sweaters are loosely based off of.

In October, the Maryland Crabs recently participated in the Slapshot tourney in Johnstown. Their next tourney will be in Rockville during the last week of December if you want to cheer them on.
