Jonas Siegenthaler scored his first NHL goal on Saturday, on the one-year anniversary of his debut in the league.
Tom Wilson celebrated the defenseman’s milestone achievement the way he always does: a towel full of shaving cream straight to the face.
Luckily, Siegenthaler managed to avoid getting the burning shaving cream into his eyes. Wilson’s previous victims, like Ilya Samsonov and Jakub Vrana, have not been so lucky.
Siegenthaler was also given the Capitals’ hard hat of the match by his teammates. The hat is an authentic Nats batting helmet signed by the World Series Champion Nats.
