The Washington Nationals really got wild by the end of the Caps-Flames game. Several of the team’s stars, such as Max Scherzer, Trea Turner, Adam Eaton, and Sean Doolittle, got shirtless during a second intermission Zamboni ride.
The shirts came off again during the third period after the Capitals and PA announcer Wes Johnson unleashed the fury.
As it ended, Yan Gomes and Brian Dozier began pouring beers into the mouths of Capitals fans below.
Look at that dedication. Look at that range.

Jay and Carlton are the two Caps fans who had beer poured into their mouths by Gomes and Cozier. Jay explained what happened.
“So last night, my friend and I attended the game and our seats were directly below the suite where the Nationals were partying. We took the opportunity, between cheering on our boys on the ice, to chat up the Nats,” Jay said. “We had a chance to tell Gomes, Turner, Dozier, Soto, Davey, Mike Rizzo, and a few others how much we love them and how much their championship meant to the city. They were super gracious. So, at some point, Carlton and I just started telling them that we were down to turn the party up. Gomes and Dozier asked us if we were ready. You can hear me in the video yell’Let’s do this!’ So they poured the beer down all over me. This actually happened more than once. I ended up asking Trae Turner to beer me but he asked me if I wanted a chicken strip and threw that down to me! An all-around great night! They dumped beer on me three times and I got some championship chicken strips!
“At the end of the night, I was covered in beer but it was all worth it. I was wearing brand new shoes too! Had to wash them as well!”
The players also signed the empty beer bottles and also tossed full ones to fans below.
