Evgeny Kuznetsov figuratively broke Travis Dermott’s ankles

Evgeny Kuznetsov is one of the best stick handlers and skaters in the NHL. And, as the kids say, he has dangles for days. (Do the kids say that?)

Tuesday, against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Kuzy skated into the Maple Leafs zone and took out Travis Dermott without even hitting him. As Kuzy went to his backhand and curled to the net, Dermott wiped out spectacularly as he tried to take away a pass.

I could watch this for the next 10 million hours. Kuzy wasn’t the only Capitals player to bring out the deke stick to Scotiabank Arena. Alex Ovechkin put the puck through Mitch Marner’s legs during a chance in the third period.

On Ovi’s third period goal, TJ Oshie toe-dragged around the Leafs too.

I love it when my Caps get fancy.
