The Washington Capitals are in business again at home, this time against a Metro Division rival in the New York Rangers. The Rangers played last night and loss 5-2 to the New Jersey Devils, so this is prime opportunity for the Caps to beat up on some tired legs.

- Max Scherzer is dropping the puck tonight in a ceremonial faceoff that will likely be the most competitive of all time because Max is an insane person and we love him.
- In other DC sports news, Bradley Beal signed an extension with your Washington Wizards in part because of the success of the Capitals, Mystics, and Nationals.
- Richard Panik has been placed on long term injury reserve and Martin Fehervary and Travis Boyd are back up from Hershey.
