The Washington Capitals lost to the Colorado Avalanche 6-3 on Monday, but it was a special game for two Caps dads in particular.
Sergei Ovechkin and Kirill Orlov attended their first hockey game with mom!
The night began with Ovi Jr. mingling with mom in a private room at Capital One Arena. And then… dad arrives!
Ovi gave Ovi Jr. some kisses, and then dad was off to the locker room to prepare for the game.
But that’s fine, dad. Ovi. Jr went and did some more mingling. This time with three-month-old Kirill Orlov.
Finally, some actual hockey. Sergei and Kirill went out to the tunnel to watch warmups with their moms. Of course they took some pictures.

After warmups ended, the moms and babies went to their seats in the lower bowl to watch the game. There was lots of cuddling.
The game didn’t have the result everyone had hoped, but regardless, it was a big milestone for the two tiny babies.
